Solar energy solution wins tea innovation award in Kenya

A technology for trapping solar heat to be used in continuous withering units won the new Innovation Award in October during the Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Competition in the Tea Industry in Kenya. This solar wall technology was implemented in Chomogonday Tea Factory by Finlay’s Tea (Kenya) Limited, a company that produces around 40 million kilos of made tea every year.
