Analysis of gender equity in the cocoa sector in Colombia

This study seeks to identify gender-inclusive practices in the Colombian cocoa sector in order to provide information that contributes to its sustainable development. The results show that, although the cocoa industry has made efforts to address gender equity, women are still marginalized both socially and economically, a factor that represents a challenge to improving the sustainability of cocoa farming.
